Description
He’s gentle, warm, friendly, cheerful and wonderfully round. All children enjoy the benefits of his joy and generosity. He has a nice, chubby tummy, so there’s a little resistance when he slides down the chimney ‒ otherwise he would fall too fast and land with a loud bump!
Everyone knows Santa Claus
If you’re lucky, you might be able to hear the sound of bells jingling and his cheerful “Ho ho ho” as he arrives in his sleigh pulled by 9 reindeer, with a sack filled with gifts for all the lovely children. Santa Claus is a busy man, so it’s a good thing he has his 9 reindeer Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen, as well as his favorite Rudolf with the red nose that lights the way in the cold and frosty night.
Santa Claus lives at the North Pole.
It’s from here that he flies off on his travels on Christmas Eve, along with his sack, gifts and flying reindeer. If he’s in a hurry, he drops them off in a large sack at the front door, or is helped by his lovely helper elves, who live in the attic, stable, barn or forest. Once Santa’s sack of gifts is empty, he returns home to the North Pole, happy and exhausted.
Both Santa Claus and his reindeer are in need of warmth and indulgence after a long journey in the sleigh in the cold and snow. At home at the North Pole, Mrs. Claus awaits their return with warm milk and cake for Santa Claus, and fresh carrots and water for the reindeer.
Now Christmas is finally here, and Santa Claus can relax and enjoy the warmth from the glowing fireplace. The snow is falling softly, laying a white blanket over every tree and shrub outside.
Christmas trees and happy children light up every home. Outside, the warm glow from the windows glistens in the snow, and each animal, bird, insect and elf hides away and looks forward to next Christmas.
Merry Christmas!
