Join us on Friday, May 26th and Saturday, May 27th for Elk Horn’s 43rd Annual Tivoli Fest! Tour the historic windmill, taste homemade aebleskiver, watch Vikings mint coins, and take in everything the Danish Villages have to offer during Tivoli Fest 2023!
Tivoli Fest is an annual celebration in Elk Horn, Iowa where local organizations and businesses offer specials and other offers in celebration of Elk Horn’s Danish heritage.
The Danish Windmill will be offering FREE ADMISSION on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with extended hours. Our troupe of Vikings will be on the grounds and entertaining visitors with lectures, demonstrations, and battles all day long. Don’t miss Danish folk dancing on the entertainment stage and take in some of western Iowa’s beautiful weather on one of the several picnic tables around the grounds. Shop through our gift shop for candies, gifts, collectibles, and all of our unique offerings throughout the day. First 100 visitors on Saturday will receive a FREE windmill ballcap. Best of all, get free access to our historic windmill for the day!
A photographer will be taking pictures in front of the windmill free of charge on Saturday.
