This years Mother’s day plate entitled ” Border Collie with puppies ” was made and issued by the Bing & Grondahl Porcelain Factory. The plate is # 42 in the series, which has been issued since 1969. The master model is destroyed at the end of the year, making it impossible to reproduce the motif again. To guarantee authenticity, the plate bears Bing & Grondahl’s logo with the three towers and the initials of the painter.
