Tour our historic windmill, enjoy samples of havarti cheese, delicious gløgg, and aebleskiver, and get your Christmas shopping done for yourself and your loved ones with unique gifts and imports from Denmark!
Julefest is an annual holiday celebration in the Danish Villages with local businesses and organizations participating in special offerings and holiday cheer for the coming Christmas season. Taste unique Danish foods, enjoy a concert, tour our museums and heritage sites, and shop around in our local boutiques, the antique mall, or the vendor craft fairs. It’s the perfect time of year to get all of your holiday shopping done while also living the unique experience of Danish-American Christmas traditions in a rustic setting.
The Danish Windmill will be offering free tours of the windmill Friday-Sunday with extended hours. Our gift shop of Nordic imports, local products, and specialty goods will be fully stocked with all of your unique gift items, collectibles, and souvenirs.
In addition to our usual samplings of havarti cheese and gløgg, we will be offering an aebleskiver demonstration this year with free samples.
