The little Viking girl blows her lur, and the rooster should perhaps watch out, as the girl and her Viking friend are ready for the battle field with both sward and shield. The Children’s Day Plate has been issued every year since 1985 and again this year, the plate is created by Sven Vestergaard who has lovingly portrayed the Nordic Viking era from a child’s perspective.
