Dansk Mølledag (Danish Mill Day) is an annual recurring event, where more than 100 old water and wind mills throughout Denmark open their doors to the public to show their work on preserving, and communicating, a 1000-year-old cultural heritage.

On the mill day, there is an opportunity to get inside a mill and see how a mill is built and how it works. We invite you to join in the celebration this Sunday by visiting the only authentic Danish windmill in the US, built in Nørre Snede, Denmark in 1848 and now located in Elk Horn, Iowa.
